Location: fully remote

We are looking for a remote Business Analyst on a six-month contract with extension possibilities with airline DNC expertise.

Main responsibilities:

• Working with one of the leading NDC platform providers on the market

• 100% remote working

• Gathering functional requirements and translating them to technical requirements for the development and implementation of new product enhancement

• Work with Tech-writers to externalise API documentation for development portal (article text and XML samples)

• Review solution proposals with developers and QA’s

• Collaborate with product managers, product owners and technical leads/architects/designers to create solutions

• Support developers, QA resources, and functional support staff by assisting with functional questions

• Generate Product Requirement Documents

• Create API Usage and mapping documents between API versions

• Analyse the most recent NDC Schema (21.3) and identify Acceptance Criteria based on the existing implementation (which is an older version of the NDC API)

• Write Test scenarios for QA and Development based on the Requirement

• Create Workflow Diagrams as needed

• Document technical implementation in a Solution Approach document for internal reference

Required expertise:

• Senior technical business analyst, at least five years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Systems Analyst would be necessary

• Good understanding of and experience with airline PSS and distribution processes and concepts is a must

• At least high-level familiarity with NDC and digital distribution APIs, the more, the better

• Ability to read XML and understand and work with XML schemas

• General technical competence and experience (e.g. as Technical BA, Systems Analyst or even developer) would be a plus
