A successful luxury travel company are looking for a Cyber Security IT – OT specialist to join their friendly and energetic team based in Uxbridge, London with expertise in Cyber risk and reporting, Cyber Security projects, Cyber security policies, cyber security qualifications, standards and guidelines etc.

Job Purpose:

My client recruiting for its IT department a Cyber Security IT-OT Specialist  to support the enhancement of Cyber Security requirements for IT/OT. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the cyber requirements design, implementation and maintenance for OT and IT in line with the Cyber Security Officer’s directives and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the embedding of cybersecurity in the lifecycle of the IT /OT systems onboard

  • Application of theoretical and practical OT cybersecurity methods to the analysis and solution of cybersecurity problems.

  • Provision of technical cyber requirements in the OT contract management phase.

  • Develop solutions that can guarantee the safety and security of shipping, in compliance with IMO Cyber Risk Management guidelines.

  • Support the Definition and the implementation of secure network architectures also in the OT environment and IT/OT secure integration.

  • Design network security architectures to maintain network a secured zones and conduits.

  • Monitor network operations and changes and assist all relevant units at the company and suppliers to maintain and enhance network security.

  • Support the remediation of gap found in cyber processes such as Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence

  • Support the Handling or escalate IT/OT security issues or events.

  • Oversees the maintenance of Cyber Security documentation Policy and Procedures, Inventory, Risk Assessment 

Job-Requirements: skills, competencies, experience

  • English as primary language and, Italian language is an advantage.

  • Focus on navigation systems.

  • Experience in Luxury Travel is a bonus.

  • 2-5 years’ experience in marine operations, with specialistic operational technology (OT) cybersecurity engineering knowledge and understanding

  • Knowledge of network communication protocols and architectures

  • Knowledge of the IMO Cyber Risk Management guidelines

  • Ability to document technical analysis and articulate outcomes to non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to report effectively and presenting impactfully.

  • Certifications in the cyber security field will be an advantage (e.g. Certified Operational Technology Cybersecurity Professional, Cyber Security Specialist, etc.).

  • Adaptable individual and Team player.

Travel: 30% of the time (average 10 days per month)
