Our client is major tech provider to the retail industry and looking for a PowerBI Data Analyst to join their data team.

Our client recognise the value of data in business and are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to help drive them forward by analysing and interrogating data and presenting findings back to the business, as well as helping to produce reports which provide the business access to meaningful data on demand.

You will be experienced in using analytical software and the reporting tool PowerBI, our chosen reporting software.

The Data Analyst responsibilities will involve:

• Using analytics/BI software to gather data

• Create reports and visualisations

• Using data to answer questions

• Discussing reports with the wider business

• Maintaining/supporting existing reports

Essential skills:

• Experience with analytics, business insight software and reporting

• A good level of experience working with Power BI (should understand how to import, manipulate and present information, how to work with multiple dates within the same data set and use both Power M and DAX languages)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Self-organised, motivated and pro-active

• Good communicator (both to technical and non-technical colleagues)

• Ability to analyse, model and interpret data

• Methodical and logical approach to working

• Highly accurate worker with a keen eye for detail

The position is currently based from home; however it will increase to 1-2 days per week in the office post pandemic.
