A luxury travel company are looking for an IT Technical Operations Project IT Manager to join their friendly and energetic team based in London with expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), MySQL, VMWare, Firewalls, OpenShift, IT infrastructure etc.
Key Responsibilities
Management of the company and office IT infrastructure i.e. (Server, Storage, and backup Management, Microservices platforms, Firewalls.)
Design, development, and implementation of new technologies.
Project leadership of the company’s newbuilds and refitting projects.
Monitoring and support of infrastructure availability, scalability, and performance.
Taking proactive steps to ensure an appropriate level of system availability and security.
Third line support to IT Onboard support functions.
Management of contractors.
Job-Requirements: skills, competencies, experience
Master's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
At least 7 years experience in IT Service Management (ITSM)
Fluent in the English language, a knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
Experience in the maritime and hospitality industry is desirable
Knowledge and Experience with Windows, Centos, RedHat Server, network and desktop
Knowledge of Firewalls, Load balancing
Knowledge and experience of Microservices architecture, cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Knowledge and experience with Data centre management, SAN storage, VMware and Back-Up technologies
Knowledge of Databases based upon MySQL
