A leading London based, global travel-tech solution provider is looking for an ambitious, client facing Software Implementation Consultant to support their growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 2+ years’ experience working in a leisure travel agency with interest in technology (support, training, implementing software).
Main Job Purpose:
To train customers on the use of the software product in different Tour Operating businesses.
To propose, analyse and document the ways the software functionality can help Tour Operating customers.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with 3-5 years’ experience working in a Tour Operator and/or working for a consulting or software company.
The candidate should understand how technology supports business processes for a Tour Operator.
The candidate must be passionate about technology and excited about the travel industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct user workshops with clients to understand the business requirements and translate these into recommended configurations.
Analyse and document client business processes and workflows.
Co-ordinate and provide training on the use of the software
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, clients, development teams and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
Assist in the design and execution of test scenarios and test scripts for our software
Assist in the production and maintenance of user manuals and client specific documentation.
Skills / Attributes Required:
Experience of working in a Tour Operating business
Experience / interest in working with technology
Results orientated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio effectively
Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at different levels of an organisation
Ability to work both in a team and independently
Willingness to travel to client sites
Educated to degree level
