A great opportunity for a Web Developer / Designerwith expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SEO, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.to join a B2B tech company in Hertfordshire. This role will be a Hybrid role – so a combination of 1 or 2 days in office and rest working from home.

The ideal candidate will be confident in working alone and as part of a team on multiple and varied projects. The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail as they will be required to create their own site designs or take the customers’ designs and turn them into something amazing.
 

The successful candidate will work with the design Implementation team to design and build websites for B2B and B2C clients; whilst liaising with other departments to fully understand the customers’ requirements and to ensure that their needs are met by the final design and implementation of the site.

Essential Skills required:

• Excellent understanding of CSS3 and HTML5.

• Understanding of SEO and how to consider it within the design and code’s structure.

• Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

• The ability to design and build a website that is responsive for all screen sizes from Desktop to Mobile.

• Excellent project management and time management skills.

• A strong eye for detail.

• Ability to competently test your site build as part of a project’s UAT.

• Experience in working to brand guidelines.

• Teamwork and communication skills.

• Confidence to set up meetings with clients to discuss requirements or issues.

• The ability to answer support requests from customers via the in-house ticketing system and where necessary, work closely with our Support and Development teams in order to obtain solutions for them.

Additional preferred skills, but not essential:

• Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
