Delivery Account Manager - Travel-tech

We have an exciting opportunity for a client-facing travel-tech expert to manage key accounts and assist with systems delivery and implementations. 

Joining as a Delivery Account Manager, you'll interact with external customers and internal Design, Development and QA teams. You will report to the Delivery Director and will take care of one or more of the external key customer accounts – existing and new travel agencies. 

  • Proactively establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers to facilitate the growth of software blueprints through the consideration of new or replacement capabilities.

  • Ensuring successful go-live by managing implementation from gap analysis to production delivery.

  • Liaise with internal teams to support software development planning and delivery to agreed specifications and timescales.

  • Identifying opportunities to advocate for additional products or services and contribute to customer retention and renewal efforts.

  • Lead Customer Service Review meetings

  • Assist customers in identifying new requirements for BAU change requests and new project initiatives using travel/systems experience.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Design Lead and Delivery Director to handle customer requests for changes. Ensure that all interactions are timely, solutions are appropriate for the purpose, important milestones are comprehended and achieved, and the deliverables are scheduled into the timelines and customer road.

  • Experience within software development organisation / travel-tech company

  • Experience with travel reservations and tour operating

  • Experience of working directly with clients 

  • Analytical and project management skills

  • Hands on and practical approach to delivery

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, most importantly, good presentation skills

  • Highly versatile and at ease operating at all levels across the customers organisation from day-to-day contact, middle and senior management to director level

The place of work is open to a hybrid model and remote, plus travel to clients' sites.
