We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager to join an expanding global travel-tech company! 

The Program Manager leads the successful execution of customer implementation programs and other customer projects, interacting with internal teams, contractors, partners, and customers. The role can be a fully remote role in the UK or a hybrid / on-site role at one of the offices in Bristol or Reading. The ideal candidate would be willing to travel to the offices occasionally to meet with collegues and customers. 

In this role, you will manage the project through the complete program lifecycle, from aspiration to delivery and customer sign-off. This includes ensuring that the program and underlying delivery projects are delivered on time, meet business & technical requirements and are within the agreed budget.

Responsibilities & Duties:

As a Program Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Leading and inspiring team members by creating clarity around goals, vision, milestones, and purpose and dealing with escalated issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring the successful delivery of all aspects of an implementation program and other customer projects; tracking deliverables and progress against scope, schedule, risk, quality and budget.

  • Planning, defining, documenting, communicating and following through on milestones and delivery through successful management of delivery work streams.

  • Driving alignment by facilitating regular program team meetings, ensuring the team is well informed on the overall project status and they have all the tools required to successfully deliver.

  • Ensuring effective communication across the company and with the customers and partners; Acting as the program's main point of contact to any request.

  • Ensuring that teams work according to an agreed implementation process.

  • Providing support to delivery leads in adhering to the company’s quality standards and procedures as well as providing support through consultation, coaching and mentoring.

Ideal track-record and competence

  • Prior experience in the Travel and Tourism industry is considered an asset

  • Proven track record in enterprise-level software project delivery, preferably on SaaS projects and/or the travel technology industry

  • Leveraging agile project delivery and development

  • Experience in SaaS product delivery, combining product development, delivery, and adoption of new software release and capabilities.

  • A proactive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic; driven to meet or exceed expectations; and a mindful focus on the finer details, all while ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

  • Superior leadership skills; able to manage multiple work streams in parallel and build relationships with all stakeholders

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • An exceptional ability and passion for communication and coordination of teams.

  • Experience with Salesforce is considered an asset
