A new and super-exciting Product Manager vacancy has been created at a leading SAAS Travel-Tech company!

The Travel Platform includes the product to integrate to 3rd party land (hotels, transfers, excursions), and Air (GDS and low cost) as well as integrating to our pricing and promotions engine.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager to drive a product in line with the strategic product roadmap. The software platform has ground-breaking functionality across key market segments that requires continuous improvement to address all the needs of this exciting Travel Industry.

The product mantra is developing a functionally rich product that addresses the market needs by delivering a frictionless user experience. To put it bluntly, if the user must think about how to use the software, then they are not focusing on servicing their customer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing the strategy and defining the roadmap for the product in close collaboration with key stakeholders

  • Communicating and document the strategy and agreeing on the roadmap priorities with the executive team in line with business ambitions and sales goals

  • Managing the product lifecycle process and driving product development

  • Ensuring functionality integration with the core Travel Platform in close collaboration with the CPO

  • Ensuring that the wider business understand how the product fits into the core solution and the benefits of using it through show & tell sessions, videos and user guides

  • Presenting the value proposition of the target market sectors

  • Presenting the solutions to customers and prospects

Ideal background:

  • Proven capability in defining successful software products as well as executing product development strategies and highly aligned roadmaps

  • Strong communicator that is used to collaborating with global teams

  • Strong capability in balancing and prioritising features, efforts and impact by using detailed and hands-on knowledge

  • Understanding of 3rd party integration space of air and land products in the leisure travel market space, including API, GDS and NDC interfaces to product development

  • Knowledge of leisure travel pricing rules, pricing engine functionality, leisure travel promotion and packaging service functionality/services

  • Has a network of contacts within the travel industry

  • Passionate about driving change and developing impactful, one-size fits most software

  • Takes a creative yet practical approach to identifying and solving business
