In this role, you’ll be the subject-matter expert on GDS workflows, partnering closely with product and engineering teams to ensure our tools reflect the real-world needs of travel professionals."

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-house authority on Travelport+ (Galileo) functionality, commands, and workflows.

  • Translate booking, modification, and cancellation processes into actionable insights for product development.

  • Validate AI-driven outputs for pricing, ticketing, refunds, and exchanges.

  • Spot and flag logic issues, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies, and recommend improvements.

  • Share travel industry best practices, edge cases, and insider knowledge to shape product decisions.

  • Provide internal education on the nuances of leisure vs. corporate travel.

What You Bring

  • Essential:

    • Proven expertise with Travelport+ (Galileo) GDS.

    • At least 3 years’ experience in a travel agency, OTA, or TMC.

    • Strong understanding of the full booking lifecycle, including exchanges and refunds.

    • A detail-oriented mindset and a passion for accuracy.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions.

    • Excitement about bringing your traditional travel expertise into the AI and tech space.

  • Preferred:

    • Experience with other GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre).

    • Familiarity with NDC content and workflows.

    • Previous work with CRM platforms (Zendesk, Genesys, Kustomer).

    • Exposure to both corporate and leisure travel environments.

    • Experience in QA, product validation, or AI-based solutions.

    • Understanding of aggregators such as Travelfusion.
