A leading travel technology provider has appointed us to recruit an experienced Project Manager.

This role is central to managing the end-to-end implementation of complex travel software solutions within tour operating environments. Projects typically span 6 to 18 months, involving multiple workstreams and close collaboration with both internal teams and client stakeholders.

You will also maintain the client relationship post-implementation — coordinating software upgrades, communications, and steering calls to ensure ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all project management activities for client implementations.

  • Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables using established project methodologies and tools.

  • Collaborate with Implementation Consultants, Business Analysts, and technical teams to meet client requirements.

  • Partner with client-side project managers to resolve issues and keep tasks on track.

  • Ensure project documentation and quality materials are produced and maintained.

  • Liaise with development and technical teams (including offshore resources) for client-specific configurations and enhancements.

  • Oversee the commercial aspects of projects — including forecasting, billing, and reporting.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience managing software implementation projects, ideally within travel technology or tour operations.

  • Strong understanding of project management tools, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all organisational levels.

  • Results-driven, highly organised, and proactive in problem-solving.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

  • Knowledge of travel systems and third-party interfaces (desirable but not essential).

  • Degree-educated or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings.

Working Environment

  • Hybrid working (minimum two days per week in the London office).

  • Occasional travel to client sites across the UK and internationally.

  • Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery.
