We have a rare opportunity to get into IT Product Management with a game-changing tech start-up.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will report to an experienced Senior Product Manager and learn all the aspects of product management from the ground up.

Day to day tasks will vary but will cover all manner of product that might include writing clear Jira tickets and product press releases, setting up data analysis to track how products are performing to refine what changes to prioritise, ensuring the engineering teams are on track to deliver on time, writing test plans and performing user acceptance testing and spending time getting to know customers.

 

Collaborate with different teams from design and engineering to business development and customer success.

WHAT SUCCESS WILL LOOK LIKE

You will have played an active role in helping improve products and services, and after a few short months into the role, you’ll already be starting to run with things confidently.

Customers should find the products a delight, simple and easy to use.

Engineering, design, and business stakeholders will understand your product ideas and Jira tickets and implement them quickly due to your clear communication and handover.

You consistently ensure sprint goals are delivered on time with minimal bugs. 

Customer success teams are confident in products and services and able to produce and execute exceptional customer training thanks to your clear communication and support.

About you:

You’re a highly driven and ambitious type, keen to break into product management and would be well-read on agile product processes to understand principles, even if you haven’t had a chance to put things into practice yet.

 

You’re a creative and critical thinker with a bias for looking at the data to help inform your choices.

 

You’re a natural communicator, able to distil complex problems into easily digestible formats to your team members.

You are naturally inquisitive and are comfortable in asking considered questions to get to grips with unfamiliar information.

You have an exceptional eye for detail.

You’re a big advocate for the customer and have the drive to leave no stone unturned to uncover the challenges they face to deliver products that will delight them.

You’re incredibly comfortable using excel for data analysis.

You’re a team player.

You’re happy working in a remote-first role in a small but highly driven team and would be willing to spend some time (approx 2-4 days per month or more if you prefer) in the office based in Hampshire or in   London co-working space for some face to face time.
