We have an excellent opportunity for a travel-tech expert with software testing skills to join a global B2B travel agency. 

The job holder will be part of a cross-company team supporting supply technology initiatives. The job holder will play a critical role, executing Test Strategies, ensuring the right testing environments are maintained.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Test Strategies focusing on the ecosystem:

  • Work with Product Management to ensure the feature is fit for purpose and work with them to identify and manage risks & issues

  • Formulate and execute solid test strategies with clear owners and sign-off criteria

  • Design a test plan based on business processes & scenarios with acceptance criteria

  • Identification of suitable test data and testing tools to be used during testing

  • Identify a suitable test team and secure resource availability

  • Undertake hands on testing

  • Coordinate testing across various departments and external vendors when needed

  • Lead a testing bug triage process, assigning the right priority on issues, ensuring all teams works on the highest priority items to ensure timelines are not impacted

  • Provide technical and product support to stakeholders during testing processes including test reports

  • Maintain Open Issues log, help identify workarounds

  • Routinely provide partners with testing related updates


Test Environment Configurations & Maintenance:

  • Ensure test environments are pointed to the right supply settings

  • Ensure vendors are pointed to the correct test environments

  • Carry out regular test environment reviews to ensure they are optimized and ready


Assist the Manager with Release Cycle Processes:

  • Assist with risk management and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality

  • Coordinate and thoroughly document release content based on the product development backlog

  • Communicate all feature release, hotfixes or service pack related plans

  • Maintain good relationships and coordinate work between teams at different locations

  • Release related reporting

  • Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.


Assist Manager with Supply Technology Channels Certification:

  • Ensure Point of Sale Tools and Applications connected to the Supply Management Platform are routinely certified and ready to adopt all new features

  • Document by Point of Sale Tool and Application, acceptance or not of features, in addition to date of sign-off and successful implementation


Supply Management Platform Production Support:
Troubleshooting Production incidents: assist the Product Support Team in the investigation of live API issues & the Supply Product Team in the implementation of supply technology efforts

Relationship Management / Partners with:

  • Supply Product Management to ensure full awareness of the to be released features

  • Supply R&D Teams in collaboration with Product to ensure all features have been developed per original specifications and for the stability of test environments

  • Vendors & other parties powering PoS Tools & Applications connected to the Supply Management Platform to ensure certification of all changes and awareness of any channel specific dependencies affecting rollout.

  • SMP Product Support to ensure their awareness and readiness to offer support on new features – as needed.

  • 3rd party GDS & Non-GDS Connectors to ensure timely resolution on issue escalations to their technical teams and an excellent operational management.



Qualifications:
Educated to University Degree level

  • Strong experience as a Test Analyst with exposure to travel

  • Able to work with SMEs, understand business processes & convert into test plans

  • Logical, structured approach to testing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong planning and organizational skills

  • Strong Team player with proven people management skills
