A B2B market-leading travel-tech company is on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager with a travel-tech background.
The main purpose of the role: oversee key customer delivery and implementation projects from inception through to delivery, benefits realisation and customer sign off.
This will ensure consistency of quality, implementation of core principles and high standards of success. The individual will be comfortable overseeing several concurrent work streams, managing risks and issues, and helping manage stakeholder expectations, scope and budget. This in turn will ensure the profile of Strategy & Delivery as a department is consistently maintained to continue to be respected and valued across clients.
Communication - the Project Manager needs to be a clear communicator both internally and externally with our customers.
Task Management - Work with the customer to negotiate and agree on all expected actions and by the agreed timelines.
Project planning - Each deliverable must be communicated to the customer, along with expectations for testing and anticipated go-live date. A project team will have been assigned and so the PM must ensure there is enough work to fully utilise the resource.
The required expertise:
Good working knowledge of the travel industry.
Good working knowledge and proven skills in delivering technical SaaS software projects in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Ability to build relationships with customers, project teams and executive stakeholders.
Enterprise-level software project delivery preferably in the travel technology space
Understand and practise AGILE project delivery and development
Have experience working on SaaS project delivery
Able to travel to client sites when required
