ABOUT YOU
You’re a Product Designer with at least 3+ years of experience working within a product team or digital agency.
You’re comfortable creating application UI’s for both web and native apps. You’re able to demonstrate this via your portfolio of work.
You’re able to interpret complex problems create and communicate simple solutions, demonstrating your thought process from initial sketches to the final visual outcome.
You have an exceptional eye for detail.
You’re a big advocate for the customer and have experience in UX practices to uncover the challenges they face.
You’re incredibly comfortable using design tools such as Figma. You’re all about Auto Layout and Variants to help power your design process.
Your communication skills are excellent. You can confidently talk Product and Engineering teams through your thought process and take on board feedback objectively.
You’re a team player and like to design collaboratively.
You’re happy working in a remote-first role in a small but highly driven team and would be willing to spend some time (approx 2-4 days per month) in our office based in the South Downs close to Portsmouth for some face to face time.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will report to the Lead Designer and help create accessible user experiences for our agricultural customers worldwide.
Working with the product team, you will interpret briefs and customer requirements creating solutions in sketches and/or wireframes to communicate your ideas.
Design and prototype end-to-end flows for new features and brand new products give stakeholders and customers a feel for how the interactions work.
Help create visual systems to be used across our products.
Iterate and evolve designs based on internal stakeholder feedback and broader customer feedback.
Collaborate with different teams from design and product to engineering, working alongside sprints to ensure designs are being delivered ready for engineering.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
3+ years experience working as a UI/UX designer.
The focus of your work has been on products with application UI’s such as dashboards, reporting suites and data visualisation at the forefront of this.
Experience of working as part of a remote team is beneficial.
Experience designing across a broad range of platforms from web to native.
A good understanding of UX processes, usability and accessibility design principles.
A good working knowledge of Figma.
Bonus if you have broader design skills such as print, animation as sometimes the wider business needs assistance.
