We have an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a market-leading B2B tech company in the motor finance industry. Due to continued growth and investment in tech, they are hiring. 

The Business Analyst will enable, support, and contribute to the delivery of successful business transformations by applying their extensive experience, business analysis skills, proven approaches and known industry best practices. 

As a Business Analyst, you will drive projects and minor changes forward to ensure the products and features meet the business strategy and vision. Aligned with the Business Technology roadmap and Steering Committee prioritisation, you will work with business owners and other stakeholders to understand the problem and the best resolution approach. 

Using your business analysis skillset and project management knowledge, you will use the right techniques to manage and monitor the features and initiatives through the development lifecycle to launch within agreed timescales, promoting quality at all stages and ensuring that business requirements and stakeholder expectations are met.

The following is a list of Key Responsibilities to give you a flavour of the varying aspects of the Business Analyst role.  

· Work with the Head of Programme Delivery and relevant business owners to produce a business case based on the problem to solve, outlining business justifications, benefits and success criteria, factoring in risks and assumptions and any known costs to present at the Steering Committee for approval and prioritisation.

· Deep dive into the relevant business areas to understand and document their processes using the technique pertinent to ensure the right approach to the problem is taken. 

· Contribute to discussion in the Business Technology Triage meetings to assess the benefit and justification of continuous improvement requests raised by the business areas. Provide knowledge and an objective view to determine the suitability and relevance of acceptance or whether the request should legitimately be declined. Own actions to gather further information, progress to pre-project or to the business case as relevant.  

· Assist in the development and maintenance of appropriate project plans, aligned with the Business Technology roadmap and development sprint cycles to ensure successful and controlled delivery.

· Provide regular, timely and accurate stakeholder updates on progress via the relevant medium as defined in any communication plan. Feed back into the Business Technology roadmap where there are changes to priority and/or timescales. Produce project documentation in line with the agreed methodology.

· Identify internal and external stakeholders and work with the relevant parties to elicit, capture and prioritise requirements to define the scope for delivery. Utilise relevant prioritisation techniques. 

· Write user stories, define acceptance criteria for the initiative incorporating any non-functional or technical requirements, and obtain sign-off by presenting these back to stakeholders. Work with the development delivery teams in a Product Owner capacity where relevant to ensure the stories are broken down into acceptable issues facilitating acceptance into a sprint.

· Help in the identification, evaluation and management of risks to the process or change, implementing appropriate actions to mitigate risk using risk management techniques and raising with stakeholders as relevant.

· Perform or facilitate UAT testing on behalf of the business. Co-ordinate and monitor any internal and external User Acceptance testing phases, triaging any defects found or issues encountered to a satisfactory resolution. 

· Provide show-and-tell sessions and documentation to stakeholders such as release notes and support relevant stakeholders and Marketing with communications to facilitate launch readiness and planning. Provide go/no go decision and sign off to the delivery team. 

· Provide product and business knowledge during pitch meetings with Sales team and third parties, support to queries during the on-boarding process to help engage new partnerships.

· Contribute to and follow the project management principles to ensure they are understood and embedded throughout the project lifecycle.

· Attend and contribute to Sprint ceremonies and other meetings as required and relevant. Such meetings include daily stand-ups, sizing, sprint demos, sprint retros and sprint planning.

· Support and work with the Team of Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand and consider the product solution and apply consistent best practices through the SDLC.
