An industry gamechanger operating in one of the most important industries is looking for a Senior Software Tester with expertise in Automation, API testing, Postman, Katalan, WebUI test automation etc. The role is a flexible hybrid of remote work and office time with 1 day every couple of weeks in the office, or more if you prefer.


  • The successful candidate will have experience in using automation tools and techniques to assure the quality of business-critical applications.

  • Have experience in automated API testing using tools like ReadyAPI, Postman, Katalan etc.

  • Be comfortable with Web UI test automation for business application testing, using tools such as

  • Be experienced in the setup and use of test automation in continuous integration platforms

  • Some coding experience is beneficial, ideally in JavaScript to resolve complex testing challenges where tools fall short.

  • Have experience with both functional and non-functional aspects of software testing, including performance, security and resilience.

  • Have an exceptional eye for detail.

  • You're a team player.

  • You're happy working in a remote-first role, in a small but highly driven team, and would be willing to spend some time (approx. 2-4 days per month or more if you prefer) in our office based in Portsmouth, or London co-working space for some face to face time with the team.


  • Will report to the Head of Engineering and as a technical tester, will be responsible for establishing and advancing testing automation across their APIs and Web UI.

  • Work closely with the product team to gain a deep knowledge of requirements to support UAT testing.

  • Design, build and execute non-functional automated tests (e.g. security, performance, load etc.)

  • Need to work with API specifications (OpenAPI, Swagger etc.)

  • Will be responsible for managing test automation lifecycle
