Senior UI Engineer – Travel-Tech

A global travel-tech leader is hiring a Senior UI Engineer to help shape the front-end of mission-critical products used by millions. This hybrid role is based in Dublin, requiring 1–2 days/week in the office.

We’re looking for a passionate, experienced front-end developer with strong JavaScript skills and a track record of leading UI teams. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business and help deliver exceptional digital experiences in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Translate business needs into scalable, high-quality UI features.

  • Lead UI projects with 3+ developers, collaborating across teams and departments.

  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code using JavaScript/TypeScript and ReactJS.

  • Champion UI technical decisions and best practices.

  • Optimise for performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.

  • Contribute to software process improvement and CI/CD initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in front-end/UI development.

  • Strong experience with ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Familiarity with responsive design, web standards, and accessibility.

  • Comfortable leading projects and mentoring other developers.

  • Experience working with REST APIs, automated testing (Jest or similar), and modern build pipelines.

  • Proficient with Git, Chrome DevTools, and front-end debugging tools.

  • Exposure to Docker, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.

  • Experience in travel-tech or retail is a plus.
