A Travel-tech company out of the San Francisco Bay area on the mission to disrupt a major industry worth trillions of dollars and are currently on a hunt to hire a Technical Program Manager to join their expanding software development team in London.

They have proven leaders who have built multiple billion-dollar companies and technology at the vanguard of data, AI, design, and experience.  

The Technical Program Manager main responsibilities are:

  • Ensure successful execution of large company-wide programs working with a diverse set of (product, engineering, business) stakeholders  

  • Monitor, implement, and maintain programs/initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives  

  • Develop program assessment metrics for evaluation and improvement

  • Maintain organizational standards of timeliness, quality, and performance

  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring program goals are reached and communicate the status of milestones to key stakeholders from time to time

  • Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams- Product Management, Engineering and other teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives

  • Identify key requirements and dependencies needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors

  • Manage to deliver against established business goals/objectives

  • Work with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department

The required background and skills:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business administration or related field and 4+ years of relevant program management experience.

  • Hands-on experience in software development for 2+ years (optional)

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Adept at communicating to a varied set of stakeholders

  • Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

  • E com background preferred

  • Proven track record of efficient stakeholder management skills

  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA/ CRM tools

  • Project/ program management / PMP certifications are a plus
