A successful luxury travel company are looking for a Sales & Customer Service Consultant to join their friendly and energetic team in Reading.

Providing the finest luxury travel and highest customer service is the objective with this company, to join their team you will need to be passionate about travel, maximising sales and opportunities, delivering exceptional customer service and inspiring a team.

The main objectives will be to:

Successfully quote for and sell luxury travel products to their clients over the telephone.

Advise clients of the correct payment plan and terms & conditions of their reservation and collect the correct amount of payment at the time of booking.

Ensure that all elements (cruise, flight, hotel, transfers, etc) of the holiday are explained, booked and charged correctly to the client at the time of booking.

Accurately amend client’s bookings as required by them and to pass the details on to the administration team.

Provide accurate information regarding the source of your sales calls and reservations to the Reservations Manager and Company Directors.

Attend training events, industry functions and fam trips. Some of these are out of the office and some are overseas.

Assist with any question’s clients may have pre- or post.

Inform the Reservations Manager, Reservations Assistant Manager, or a Senior Consultant immediately of any problems that occur in the reservation or customer service arenas.

On occasion, you will be required to assist the Administration Team in:

Ensuring that all passengers receive their tickets in a timely manner and that the tickets are correct (in the case of e-ticketing ensuring that the passenger has printed off their e-ticket by checking on systems).

Ensuring that all passengers have paid on time and that the company have paid their suppliers on time.

Assisting the Sales Team with reservation amendments, etc.

This role comes with an OTE of £22,000 p.a. made up of basic salary £18,000 and a sales bonus of £4,000. The sales bonus is capped at £13,000.
